Jupiter’s Merlin Income Portfolio fund run by John Chatfeild-Roberts has topped the sales charts on the Cofunds platform in the first half of 2013.
The fund was followed by Invesco Perpetual’s Distribution fund, run by Neil Woodford, Paul Causer and Paul Read and the Newton Global Higher Income fund run by James Harries.
All three funds are members of the Investment Adviser 100 Club list of top performing funds.
Elsewhere, the most popular sector for the first half of 2013 was the IMA Mixed Investment 20-60% Shares sector, which accounted for more than 94 per cent of net sales.
Graham Venn, head of commercial at Cofunds, said the sector has “continued to attract high inflows in the past six months of 2013 perhaps reflecting investors’ ongoing caution”.
“In comparison the same sector also topped the leaderboard early last year for five out of the six months.
“The North America sector secured some impressive inflows this month accounting for third place on the sales leaderboard with more than 21 per cent of net sales.”
