Noble-Nesbitt leaves Close Brothers after review

Close Brothers Asset Management’s Deryck Noble-Nesbitt is to leave the group following a review of the business.

Mr Noble-Nesbitt, managing director of investments and smaller companies, ran the Beacon Investment and Special Situations funds, but the group recently announced these would be closed in August.

He also ran the multi-asset Tailored Portfolio Service but the group has now started a review of its business conducted by chief investment officer Nancy Curtin.

“This means the teams currently running the Close Discretionary Funds and the Tailored Portfolio Services will be combined into a single team under her direct management,” the company said.

“She is currently working with the team to refine this new structure.”
