The specialist website, which went live on Monday, provides a digest of relevant articles, plus a range of tools and information to help those within the profession.

Sarah Paul, marketing director, said the learning zone on the site will provide CPD development material from a “variety” of providers.

She added: “Paraplanners can finally come together and get a lot of useful technical material in one place.”

The website will also link up to another paraplanning online ‘hub’, owned by life firm Legal & General, which has been online since the beginning of July.

Derek Bradley, chief executive of Panacea Adviser, said: “As we have settled into the new world, with greater regulation surrounding documentation and accountability, paraplanners have played an increasingly important part in supporting the service offered by advisers. In recognition of this, we are pleased to offer more specific resources to this growing community.”

Background
L&G is one of numerous providers lending support to a specialist event for paraplanners, which is taking place in teepees in Northamptonshire in September. The Paraplanners, which outsources qualified paraplanners to advisory firms, has organised the Powwow as an informal and collaborative opportunity for paraplanners to discuss the biggest issues within the industry.
