Adviser network Financial Ltd has dropped its opposition to financial planning software tools and has announced that it is set to roll out Capita’s Synaptic Fusion package to all of its members.
Synaptic Fusion consists of four tools that are designed to aid advisers’ research of products and funds (‘Synaptic Research’), comparisons of on-platform and off-platform offerings (‘Comparator’), portfolio modelling and reviews (‘Modeller’), and annuity quotes and applications (‘Webline’).
Financial Ltd said in a statement that it would be working with Capita over the next several weeks to configure the software for members, through the creation of a “financial standard investment solution”.
The ‘solution’ will include an attitude to risk tool with risk categories specifically aligned to typical Financial client segments, strategic asset allocations, funds, portfolios, and platform and provider panels.
Brian Galvin, managing director at Financial, said: “We recognise that formally adopting a research and planning solution with Synaptic Fusion is a change from our previous practice, however, given the increasing focus on the investment advice process and client outcomes, we felt it was the right time to provide a proposition that supports member firms throughout the entire process.”
