Axa ‘fat boys’ raise £12,000 for hospices

The team, who dubbed themselves the Axa “fat boys”, cycled through five countries from London to Cologne, raising more than £12,000 for two hospices.

The group had originally aimed to attract donations worth £10,000 for St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke and St Peter’s Hospice in Bristol.

The team included Mike Kellard, the chief executive of Axa Wealth.
