UK Select trust rebrands after Threadneedle takeover

Investors in the £37.2m UK Select trust have agreed to rename the trust following its takeover last year by Threadneedle.

Now the Threadneedle UK Select trust, it was taken on by the company in July 2012 from Swip, and is now managed by Simon Brazier.

Since Threadneedle took on the mandate the trust’s shares have risen 42 per cent. In addition the board has been buying back shares to bring the share price more in line with the value of its assets.

The trust is the only closed-ended product Threadneedle currently runs.
