Skandia UK sales director Steve Powell is to retire at the end of this year.
Mr Powell has worked at the firm for 23 years, primarily working in adviser-facing sales. Skandia has yet to appoint a replacement.
Mr Powell said: “I am extremely proud of what we have achieved during my time at Skandia. It is a good business with good people. I have been lucky to be surrounded by some exceptional men and women over recent years. Skandia was, is and always will be a great place to work.”
Managing director Peter Mann said Mr Powell had “played a key role” in building Skandia’s position in the market.
“Since I have known him, Steve has always been someone I personally admired and I have learnt a lot from his knowledge and experience during our time together at Skandia,” Mr Mann said. “He has been loyal to this business over a long period of time and everyone here wishes him well as he looks to hang up his boots.”
