City Financial’s Rosengarten leaves after just one year

City Financial’s head of UK asset management Ed Rosengarten is set to leave the group after just a year at the business.

Mr Rosengarten joined City Financial as part of a deal which saw Eden Financial staff and assets transfer to the group in October 2012.

He has also spearheaded other changes at the group, including bringing much of the company’s capabilities inhouse. Multi-manager John Husselbee was removed as manager of its multi-manager funds when it hired former Henderson multi-manager Mark Harris.

The group said Mr Rosengarten felt it was the “right time to move on” after boosting assets at the group and adding sales and marketing support.

Andrew Williams, chief executive and Rob Hain, chairman thanked Mr Rosengarten for his “outstanding contribution to City Financial’s success”.
