Stephanie Flanders leaves BBC to join JPM in strategy role

BBC economics editor Stephanie Flanders has left the broadcaster to join JPMorgan Asset Management as chief market strategist for the UK and Europe.

Ms Flanders will be based in London and report to chief global strategist David Kelly.

The company said her role will be to “deliver insight into the economy and financial markets to thousands of professional investors across the UK, Europe and globally.”

Prior to the BBC, Ms Flanders was a reporter at the New York Times, and a columnist at the Financial Times, among other roles.
