M&G poaches Invesco emerging market debt manager

M&G Investments has hired emerging market debt specialist Claudia Calich from Invesco, the US parent of Invesco Perpetual.

Ms Calich left Invesco at the end of July and will join M&G on October 18. At Invesco she was head of emerging market debt and a senior portfolio manager based in New York.

Jim Leaviss, head of M&G retail fixed interest, said the appointment would “deepen and broaden” his team’s coverage of the emerging market debt sector.
