Threadneedle’s Pacific ex Japan Growth fund manager Rafael Polatinsky has left the firm with deputy manager Natasha Ebtehadj taking over as lead manager.
The £21.8m fund is one of those transferred to Threadneedle from LV Asset Management in 2011. Mr Polatinsky took on the fund in November 2011, since when it has posted a third-quartile return of 16 per cent.
A spokesperson for Threadneedle said: “Rafael Polatinsky has left Threadneedle and we wish him well. Threadneedle has a well-established Asian equities team headed by Vanessa Donegan. Rafael’s fund responsibilities will be split across the team.”
As well as her new role on the Pacific ex-Japan Growth fund, Ms Ebtehadj also runs an Indian equity offshore trust.
