Rathbone funds see 15% growth in assets

Rathbone Brothers has pointed to a combination of good market conditions and internal growth, as funds under management grew by 15 per cent in the nine months to September 30.

“Investment conditions have been favourable in 2013 and this, together with improving levels of net organic growth in the third quarter, has helped increase total funds under management by over 15 per cent since the beginning of the year,” chief executive Andy Pomfret said.

Funds under management were £20.8bn at September 30, up 15.6 per cent from £18bn on December 31 2012.
