The forum’s founder said the new resource would give a voice to the many issues affecting advisers, and allow them to be heard quickly by the site’s 20,000 users.
She said: “The rant line came about because of the need to find a way for people with real issues to be heard in a fast and conspicuous way.
“If standards are to be raised within the advisory community and between providers and lenders, issues need to be brought out publicly. Our hope is that the rants will get a good amount of attention because the passion and strength of feeling in people’s voices will be palpable.”
One of the first contributors to the rant line was Ian Broadbent, director of Lincolnshire-based Blue Sky Mortgages, and a vocal campaigner against complaints made by claims management companies against advisers.
