The firm’s chief operating officer is understood to be leaving the firm at the end of November will be and on gardening leave until the end of January.
A spokesman for Intrinsic, which closed a deal to buy Positive Solutions from Aegon UK for an undisclosed sum in August, said personnel changes at the firm were part of an “overall restructuring programme” within Intrinsic Group.
He said: “Details of the restructuring are due to be announced in the coming weeks. We recently held roadshows with Intrinsic and Positive Solution advisers, talked them through the high level integration of the two firms.”
Mr Pearson could not be reached for comment. He joined Positive Solutions in June 2011 after a one-year stint as chief executive officer of the now-defunct adviser network Honister. He has also been director of London-based Secure Future Consulting since April 2012.
