Capita launches AE comparison tool for advisers

Capita Financial Software has launched a tool enabling advisers to compare auto-enrolment schemes from a selection of providers.

Accessing the new feature in the auto-enrolment pensions area of Capita’s Synaptic research tool, advisers can research auto-enrolment pension schemes from specialists including the National Employment Savings Trust, Now Pensions, Scottish Life, Standard Life, and Legal and General.

Other schemes will be added to Synaptic in time.

Adam Byford, managing director at Capita Financial Software, said: “Our new AE tool will allow advisers to confidently research the market for their clients, giving them a wealth of information all in one place. We expect the comparison tool to grow and evolve over time, just as the actual schemes will, to continue to meet advisers’ needs.

“Our AE service allows advisers to research extremely specific scheme features, including whether people can join from day one of employment, whether the scheme provider offers advice to employees, or if the scheme is Sharia law compliant.

“Our new site helps radically reduce the time taken by advisers to access this kind of information.”

Other recently-launched online comparison tools which aim to aid advisers include Adviser Asset’s share class comparison tool and O&M’s annuity comparison tool.
