True Potential Investments has appointed Emma Napier as its head of distribution, managing partner Daniel Harrison has announced.
Ms Napier will lead the Newcastle-based firm’s business development team and will be tasked with developing the firm’s wealth platform business, Mr Harrison said.
She has more than 20 years’ experience within the advisory community. Her most recent role was as head of adviser relations at The Platforum.
MS Napier said: “I understand the day-to-day challenges that advisers face and I am fully aware of the opportunities that are presented in today’s market.
“Advisers need to be armed with the most powerful and intuitive tools available to them to deliver added value to their client base.”
Daniel Harrison, said: “With Emma’s hands-on experience and understanding of both compliance and advisory services, she has the advantage of knowing how things work in the real world. We believe that our adviser clients will really benefit from this level of input.”
The True Potential group reported increased turnover of £18.9m from January to the end of September 2013, an increase of 139 per cent against the same period in 2012, when it stood at £7.9m.
Profits between January and September rose by 44 per cent, up 44 per cent on the same period in 2012, while the number of advisers using the True Potential wealth platform jumped from 95 to 347.
