JPMorgan reshuffles managers on UK and European funds

JPMorgan Asset Management has named lead managers on three of its UK equity products.

The £301.6m UK Higher Income fund, £283.5m UK Strategic Growth fund and £138m UK Strategic Equity Income fund have been run by Ian Butler, Thomas Buckingham and Ben Stapley since 2012. As of January 1, each of the managers has been named lead manager on one of the funds.

A spokesperson for JPMAM said the changes “recognise the talent and significant ongoing contribution of these managers to the performance of the respective strategies”.

Meanwhile, the three managers have taken on lead manager roles on three Luxembourg-based funds. Mr Butler has taken on the lead manager role on the Europe Strategic Value fund, Mr Buckingham is now lead manager of the Europe Strategic Dividend fund, and Ben Stapley has become lead manager of the Europe Strategic Growth fund. Michael Barakos is the named manager on all three products.
