Aviva CFO quits for Australian shores

A statement to the London Stock Exchange said, Mr Regan, who also served on the Aviva board, would be leaving the role to become chief financial officer at the Australia-based company.

Mark Wilson, chief executive of Aviva, said Mr Regan had offered him “tremendous” support in achieving Aviva’s financial turnaround.

Mr Wilson was appointed in November 2012 following a tumultuous period in the group’s history during which Andrew Moss, the group’s former chief executive, left the company amid criticism of his pay and the company’s performance.
