Cofunds has hired nine new staff including four from Axa Wealth as it looks to rebuild following several departures last year.
The platform has hired Mark Coles from Architas - Axa Wealth’s multi-manager business - as head of business partnerships, and Liz Pemberton from Axa Wealth itself as head of regional platform consultancy.
Cofunds said in a statement that the hires would help the platform and its users transfer their legacy investments from commission-based to clean fee structures.
As well as Mr Coles and Ms Pemberton, Steve Snell and Dan White have also left Axa Wealth for Cofunds, joining as a strategic partnership manager and a regional platform consultant respectively.
Cofunds has also brought in Ben Nightingale and Kristian Rapson from parent company Legal & General as key account managers, and Phil Hurdman and Nick Casey as strategic partnership managers.
Andy Coleman, director of distribution, said: “Our new appointments not only strengthen the team but also ensure we’re in a strong position to support our clients at this key time of significant regulatory change.”
Last year Cofunds saw several key staff exit following the takeover by Legal & General, including chief executive Martin Davis, sales and marketing director Alastair Conway, managing director Stephen Mohan, chairman Charlie Eppinger, head of fund group relations Michelle Woodburn and marketing director Verona Smith.
