The Times and Sunday Times newspapers have agreed to act as introducers in a new advice partnership with Bestinvest.
Readers will have access to advice and be able to invest directly in products including self-invested personal pensions, Isas, funds and investment trusts.
The full range of Bestinvest’s products will be available at the same price they offer to direct customers.
The new service has four branches: transaction-only, advisory, fully-managed portfolio, and a full wealth planning service where clients can plan for retirement with advice on issues including inheritance tax and pensions, each with its own level of advice.
The Times is not the first paper to partner with an advice firm. The Telegraph offers a wealth management service provided by St James’s Place, while the Guardian offers a fund supermarket and advice service provided by Skipton Financial Services.
