F&C’s director of global strategy Ted Scott has retired from the group after a 30-year career.
Mr Scott was formerly manager of the F&C UK Growth & Income, F&C Stewardship Income and F&C Stewardship Growth funds until taking sick leave in November 2008.
He returned to F&C in May 2009 to become UK strategy director.
A spokesperson for F&C said: “We thank Ted for his 30 years of service at the company and wish him well for the future.”
The news follows the announcement from F&C that Foreign & Colonial investment trust manager Jeremy Tigue is to retire later this year.
F&C Asset Management is currently subject to a bid by Canadian financial services group BMO.
