SortRefer expands panel ahead of network deals

The managing director of the Derby-based firm said the move was partly driven by the need for greater capacity following SortRefer’s recent deal with Mortgage Advice Bureau and he said futher expansion should see the firm grow by 200 per cent this year.

The additional firms are Kent-based Martin Tolhurst, Telford-based Martin Kaye, Birmingham-based Davisons, Altrincham-based PLS, and Stephensons which has a regional presence in the north-west of England and London.

Mr Tunnicliffe said: “The new firms are well-known to us and have a proven track record in delivering high quality work on time and to budget.

“They have excellent reputations in the market and will compliment our existing panel members, all of whom are among the top 30 firms in the UK who specialise in conveyancing.”

Martin Kaye, PLS and Stephensons will cover sale, purchase and remortgage while Davisons and Martin Tolhurst will initially focus solely on sale and purchase transactions.

All of SortRefer’s firms are able to manage large volumes of conveyancing cases every month, measured by HM Land Registry.
