Nucleus unveils new portal app for advisers

The business development director at Nucleus said the wrap platform has designed its Speakeasy app to help it gauge adviser opinion. as well as allow advisers to share views on best practice and industry issues.

Mr Neilson said: “This online portal not only allows best practice to be shared around our community in an easy and accessible way, but also gives us the opportunity to hear feedback on our platform and service from the very people who use it.”

The app is free to download and includes a video capture tool, discussion board and regular polls.

It was unveiled at the wrap platform’s annual adviser event, Nucleus 2014, and can be downloaded to computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

The Nucleus 2014 event featured several high-profile industry figures, such as: certified financial planner Carl Richards, who is also a cartoonist and author of The Behaviour Gap; Steve Bee, founder of pensions and benefits site Jargonfree; and Tony Wickenden, managing director of Technical Connection.

Alex Slipaczek, a paraplanner at Hertfordshire-based IFA Filip Slipaczek, said: “I have not come across anything quite like Speakeasy before. It is a neat idea that makes communicating with other like-minded individuals easy and straightforward.”
