Guy Dunham, HSBC Global Asset Management’s head of fixed income, has left the group and been replaced by Ernst Osiander.

Mr Osiander joined HSBC GAM in January 2012, and assumed Mr Dunham’s fund management responsibilities in January of this year. Mr Dunham has now left the company, a spokesperson confirmed.

As head of fixed income for global and UK, Mr Osiander will sit on HSBC GAM’s global fixed income management group, which includes sector specialists and provides oversight of the company’s bond strategies.

Before joining HSBC GAM in 2012 Mr Osiander worked at FMS Wertmanagement for two years, and has also worked at several of BNY Mellon Asset Management’s boutiques.

A statement from HSBC GAM said there had been no changes to the investment process of Mr Dunham’s funds, which include the $1.5bn (£889m) HSBC GIF Global High Income Bond fund, now managed by Mr Osiander.
