JPMAM targets platforms and life cos with sales hire

JPMorgan Asset Management has hired Nick Webb from Neptune Investment Management to help sell its funds to life companies and platforms.

The group said Mr Webb, who was intermediary sales manager for central England at Neptune, will be responsible for developing and advancing relationships with life company and platform consultants throughout the UK.

He will report to Andrea Hohlachoff, head of insurance & platforms within the global strategic relationships management team of UK funds sales.

Ms Hohlachoff said: “Nick’s role will be strategically important to our distribution strategy and his in-depth market knowledge will enable him to quickly make a significant impact.

“His previous experience of working for both platforms and asset managers is a key advantage and will enable Nick to deliver exceptional service to our clients.”

Prior to Neptune, Mr Webb worked as area sales manager and in various senior sales roles for Skandia Life, where he managed relationships with IFAs across multiple regions.
