Aberdeen promotes head of EM corporates as Chan leaves

Esther Chan has left Aberdeen as the firm promotes Siddharth Dahiya to the newly created position of head of emerging market corporate debt.

Ms Chan had been with Aberdeen since 2006 on the emerging market debt team, specialising in emerging market corporate bonds.

Mr Dahiya joined Aberdeen in 2010 having spent four years at ICICI Bank UK as part of the treasury investment team.

As head of emerging market corporate debt, Mr Dahiya will work with senior investment manager Max Wolman and will report to Brett Diment, Diment, head of emerging market & sovereign debt.

Aberdeen has also brought in Paul Lukaszewski, who had worked on high yield bonds at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, onto the emerging market debt team.
