Castle Trust reveals new COO

Sarah Green, Barclays’ head of national accounts, has confirmed she is leaving the lender. This follows intermediary director David Finlay’s departure earlier this year. Jackie Uhi, managing director of regulated customer advice for the bank, will be responsible for both teams.

Invesco PowerShares, the global provider of exchange traded funds, has appointed Bryon Lake as its head of Invesco PowerShares ETFs for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Caroline Baron has also been recruited by the firm as head of Invesco PowerShares ETF Distribution UK. She joins from iShares, Blackrock in London.

Standard Life has confirmed that Luke Savage has been appointed chief financial officer and an executive director of the company with effect from 18 August. He joins from Lloyd’s of London, where he has been director of finance and operations.

GLG Partners, part of Man Group, has appointed Jack Barrat as co-manager of the GLG Undervalued Assets Fund.

Gatehouse Bank, the London-based shariah-compliant investment bank, has confirmed the appointment of Henry Thompson as chief executive, taking over from Fahed Faisal Boodai, the chairman of Gatehouse Bank, who has acted as chief executive during the past year. Mr Boodai continues in his role as executive chairman.

Southport-based Ludlow Wealth Management has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of a head of compliance. George Ramsden joins from Threesixty Services, a consultancy that advises finance firms on regulatory requirements, growth strategies, succession planning and exit strategies.
