Bargain motors take pole position

One of the more popular threads on an online adviser forum is “what car do you drive”? Advisers, apparently, are a cautious lot, in the main favouring practicality over speed and style.

The thread began with someone suggesting that all advisers buy a Kia Sedona. Then there were quite a few mentions of Audis, Saabs and even Skodas but not very many BMWs or Mercedes. Perhaps advisers are practising what they preach: the best way to save money is not to spend it.
