JPMorgan Asset Management launched an onshore and offshore fund for managers Matthew Pallai and Andrew Norelli.
The Income fund will focus on investing in global bonds, including convertible bonds, asset backed securities and covered bonds, as well as structured products.
The managers will be able to invest in government bonds as well as corporate debt and will invest globally, including in emerging markets. The fund may also invest in equity and equity-linked securities.
The managers, who are part of JPMAM’s global fixed income & currencies group, have been running the fund since its launch on June 2.
Both funds will be benchmarked against the Barclays US Aggregate index but the onshore fund will be matched against the sterling hedged version of the index.
