Alzheimer’s Research UK has been chosen as one of the Bank of England’s charities of the year for 2014/15.
The Bank supports two charities a year, voted for by its staff. Alzheimer’s Research UK was nominated by Dr Martin Weale, a founding trustee of the charity and member of the Bank’s monetary policy committee.
Over the next year Bank staff will hold a variety of fundraising events, from charity auctions to Christmas collections.
