Members of an internet service which runs forums for mortgage brokers and financial advisers will get the chance to discuss pressing issues with providers online, its director has claimed.
Cherry has offered to give service and product providers access to their own free online forum, meaning the companies can engage with the site’s members.
Donna Hopton, Cherry’s director, said: “Companies ranging from the likes of Aviva and Scottish Widows all now have their own forums, as do the many smaller companies who sell their offerings via intermediaries, which they or their staff are welcome to use as they see fit.”
She said the website had experienced high demand from intermediaries and lender and provider staff.
The provider forum area will sit alongside the existing area for advisers on the site.
Ben Wall, director of Bath-based Wall 2 Wall Finance, said: “If you had an issue with a provider you would call them or speak to their business development manager, so I am not sure this will meet a need.”
