Natwest head of sales moves to retail position on secondment

Natwest Intermediary Solutions’ head of sales Mark Bullard has accepted a secondment to the end of the year, heading up the firm’s telephony mortgage advice operation in the UK.

Mr Bullard has spent the last four years leading the intermediary sales team, but from Monday (9 February) he will be responsible for a team of over 350 people at centres in Norwich, Birmingham and Greenock.

He will be replaced by Paul Kane, who is currently one of the lender’s corporate account managers.

During his tenure, Mr Bullard grew the sales force from around 20 to 50, pioneered the use of a new broker instant messaging service as the primary enquiry channel for applications pre-submission and implemented a BDM support infrastructure.

Graham Felstead, head of Natwest Intermediary Solutions, said he has been integral to rebuilding the bank as a major intermediary lender.

“He leaves the business in great shape for Paul to take over. All of us in the business wish Mark well with his new challenge and welcome Paul into his new role.

“Paul has been part of the fabric of Natwest Intermediary Solutions for years and is very well known and respected within the industry.”
