SimplyBiz beefs up AE proposition

SimplyBiz has unveiled a number of enhancements to its auto-enrolment offering SimplyEnrol.

The new proposition from the support services firm offers advisers three end-to-end solutions that allows them the flexibility to choose the option that best meets the needs of each individual employer client.

These three tiers are designed to accommodate any firm putting an AE scheme in place, regardless of the complexity of the scheme or the level of involvement the adviser has in the AE market.

The group has also launched an online AE planner for users of SimplyEnrol, designed to help advisers and clients keep track of their progress during the lead-up to their staging date.

It includes a dedicated marketing hub and retail discounts offering.

Tom Nall, workplace solutions director at the SimplyBiz Group, said: “We believe that auto-enrolment presents advisers with one of the biggest opportunities in decades, and are committed to ensuring that we arm our member and client firms with the tools to help them fully support their clients and benefit from this growing opportunity.

“We’ve worked closely with The Pensions Regulator to keep our members informed about key compliance messages. We’ve also worked with several market-leading auto-enrolment specialists, including Creative Auto Enrolment, NOW:Pensions and, of course, Staffcare, when developing the SimplyEnrol proposition.”

Tom Binstead, director of Employee Benefits, at Bank House Corporate, based in Gloucestershire, said: “Auto-enrolment is certainly keeping me busy. As more employers start to stage, they will seek professional financial advice. Some employers are relying on accountants but they will not necessarily provide the help that they should do.”

“It is good that SimplyBiz has made these improvements to their service but everything that is mentioned is already available through pension providers.”
