Former Fidelity boss Ron O’Hanley is to take over as president and chief executive of State Street Corporation, after Scott Powers announced his retirement more than seven years leading the firm and three decades in the investment management industry. Mr O’Hanley had been president of asset management and corporate services at Fidelity Investments.
