Apprentices vow by Yorkshire BS

Yorkshire Building Society group has pledged to take on 150 apprentices for a range of consumer-serviced activities over the next five years.

This is on top of the 480 jobs created by the group during the past two years. The apprentices, who will be mostly sited at the society’s Bradford and Peterborough offices, will train in a range of customer service roles.

The mutual also intends to develop a mortgage underwriting apprenticeship.
