Chase de Vere cyclists show support for colleague

A team of 20 staff from Chase de Vere’s office in Basingstoke, Hampshire, have organised a sponsored bike ride in support of a colleague who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

The team will cycle for 50 miles on 14 June in the hope of raising £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

This followed the news that Martin Milsum, a financial adviser at Chase de Vere in Basingstoke, was diagnosed with the disease last year, at the age of 51. Since then he and his family have been through, and continue to experience, an incredibly difficult time.

Team head, senior manager Garry Malone, said: “We are all upset that this terrible disease has struck our beloved friend and colleague, and wanted to do something to show our support for him.

“The MNDA has been a great source of support for Martin, and it is a charity we want to raise money for so they can continue to do an excellent job for other people in similar circumstances.”
