TSB adds two more networks to mortgage panel

Two more networks have joined TSB Intermediary’s broker panel, Roland McCormack has said.

The service was launched in January and now has 11 networks and directly authorised businesses on its panel with the prospect of more in the future.

Mr McCormack, TSB’s mortgage intermediary director, said: “There has been such incredible demand among brokers for the expert-to-expert service we are providing at TSB Intermediary and we will look to continue rolling out to more brokers in the months ahead.”

The latest additions to its panel are HomeLoan Partnership and The Online Partnership Group.

Businesses already on the panel include Tenet, Intrinsic, Mortgage Intelligence and PTFS.

Sarah Fox-Clinch, a mortgage broker with Bristol-based Fox Davidson, said: “Lenders go through panels for a specific reason and that is to manage their business volumes which is fair enough, because you do not want a lender opening up to the whole of market and then getting swamped, as long as they do open up in the end.

“The market is competitive so if you cannot use one lender you can use another one with a similar product.”
