Cirencester Friendly Society’s income protection product has been added to the First Complete panel.
This means that more than 750 advisers can recommend My Earnings Insurance, which was launched in August 2014, to their clients.
Tessa Roddy, national account manager at Cirencester Friendly Society, said: “The First Complete network has recently exceeded 1,000 advisers, more than 750 of whom are protection sellers who can now recommend My Earnings Insurance to their clients.
“We look forward to working with them and driving the importance of income protection forward.
“This is just the start of our journey and we are excited to see what it can bring.”
Toni Smith, sales operations director at First Complete said the My Earnings Insurance product would help brokers with clients struggling to get income protection, such as those who participate in hazardous pursuits.
Ruth Whitehead, a financial adviser with London-based Ruth Whitehead Associates, said: “While I welcome the addition of any extra options anywhere, I do not see the need for panels because I think we need to look at the whole of the market.
“Panels imply restricted research for us and our clients.”
