OM Wealth lose sales duo in combining of role

Old Mutual Wealth has confirmed the departure of two sales executives, Nick Jones and Gary Stirrup.

In August 2008, Skandia hired Mr Jones to head up its St Albans adviser sales support team, having previously achieved the number one position as an adviser consultant with Aegon/Scottish Equitable.

Meanwhile, Mr Stirrup joined the firm as head of sales for the north in December 2012 as part of a sales force downsizing, reporting to then sales director for the UK Steve Powell.

A statement from OM Wealth explained that they will be combining the current heads of sales roles for the north and south into a single head of sales for the UK.

“As a result of this change Gary Stirrup and Nick Jones will be leaving Old Mutual Wealth,” said the spokesperson.

“Gary and Nick have made a big contribution to the business and we wish them all the very best for the future. We are now actively recruiting for a head of sales.”
