Natwest adds to broker instant messaging service

NatWest Intermediary Solutions has appointed Alex Witham as a phone-based business development manager (BDM).

Mr Witham will provide dedicated support to brokers in the Enfield, Harrow, Newport and Liverpool areas.

He joins NatWest’s intermediary business from Swinton Insurance where he has spent the last seven years in a variety of sales and management roles in personal lines insurance.

NatWest has also bolstered its LiveTalk team with the appointments of Catherine Spittle, Bethany Dowe and Sophie Savvides.

All three join with experience of having worked in NatWest’s broker mortgage processing teams.

LiveTalk is NatWest’s dedicated broker instant messaging service for enquiries advisers have about mortgage applications before they submit them as well as queries to do with the website.

It is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, except Bank Holidays.

Paul Kane, acting head of sales at NatWest Intermediary Solutions, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to recruit some more high quality individuals to join our team.

“We know our BDMs are held in great esteem by the brokers they deal with and that LiveTalk is a very popular adviser service. To have grown both these teams is pleasing and will provide brokers with an even better experience.”
