Sarasin adds to equity team with double hire

Sarasin & Partners has hired two managers from CCLA, the Church of England’s investment manager, for its equity team.

Simon Steele and Neil Mitchell will join the team in early November and will report to David Allen, head of asset management.

Mr Steele will co-manage Global Equity Income mandates with Darryl Lucas, while Mr Mitchell run UK mandates alongside Jennifer Ramsey and Phil Collins.

The duo join from CCLA, which provides specialist investment management for charities, faith organisations, and local authorities. They previously also worked together at Adam & Co.
