Norfolk IFA firm changes its name

A Norfolk-based adviser firm has rebranded and is on the hunt for new advisers, its co-director Mike Saunders has announced.

Boswell Financial Services – which provides wealth management services for private clients, charities and trusts - will now be known as Kent Carlyle Wealth Management – using the names of family members who have inspired them.

Mr Saunders said that following a 2012 management buyout, the firm wanted to maintain and grow its proposition as a trusted financial adviser.

He said: “The business has been through three years of steady progress and this is the start of the next part of that journey.

“While Kent Carlyle Wealth Management is very much a local firm, our strong heritage means we have long-standing clients nationwide.”

The firm is hoping to recruit an adviser with an existing portfolio in the next 12 months or sooner if they are able to match the right adviser with the right clients.

Background

Since 1999, Boswell Financial Services operated as a separate company owned by Hugh J Boswell until Mike Saunders and Martin Hewetson acquired the business from the insurance broker in 2012.

The business will remain in the private ownership of Mr Saunders and co-director Martin Hewetson.
