Former F&C manager Mark Nichols is to replace Dan Ison as lead manager of the £64m Threadneedle Pan European Equity Dividend fund.
Mr Nichols, who will become lead manager of the fund as of October 1, joined Columbia Threadneedle in May 2015 from F&C, where he ran the £273m F&C European Growth and Income fund.
Mr Ison will continue as deputy manager on the fund, which he took over in June 2014 following the departure of Nick Davis.
The portfolio shed 0.2 per cent during Mr Ison’s tenure, compared with an Investment Association Europe ex-UK return of 0.4 per cent, according to FE Analytics.
A Columbia Threadneedle spokesman said: “Mark Nichols has been appointed as lead manager on the Threadneedle Pan European Equity Dividend fund, supported by Dan Ison as deputy manager.
“Mark joined our European equities team earlier this year and has a strong track record managing similar strategies. Investors in the fund will continue to benefit from the expertise of both managers and the wider 28-strong UK and European equities teams.”
