Infinite liability is an abuse of power

In response to the news that the FCA is more likely to back an insurance solution for the long-stop, why can Apfa not inform its long-stop working party (Alan Lakey, Tim Harvey and I are supposed to be on it)?

I am categorically against the insurance solution as it is not a solution. Infinite liability is an abuse of power. There needs to be a finite limit of some sort, otherwise we are not working to any rule of law and will continue to be treated as outlaws. I will react as one when I retire if I do not have any right to a legal defence.
