Clarion Wealth paraplanner earns top IFP accolade

Adam Wareing was named paraplanner of the year by the Institute of Financial Planning at an awards ceremony held in Celtic Manor golf resort in South Wales last week.

Mr Wareing is head of paraplanning at Cheshire-based IFA Clarion Wealth Planning, is a chartered and certified financial planner and an accredited paraplanner.

Commenting on Mr Wareing’s triumph, judge Sam Rees-Adams, professional standards director at the IFP, said: “Mr Wareing showed a real commitment to financial planning and the contribution a paraplanner can make to that process – ie helping clients achieve their goals.”

Mr Wareing, who joined Clarion as head of paraplanning in 2014 following a period running his own wealth management business in Manchester, said: “the work I have done here has allowed me to hone my technical and problem-solving skills to such a level that the judges at the IFP have been so kind as to recognise them with this award.”
