Buyers shun Aberdeenshire

Aberdeenshire is the least desirable place in the UK to live, latest figures have suggested.

According to data from eMoov, only 10 per cent of borrowers were interested in purchasing in the Scottish region, with only 17 per cent of borrowers looking to live in the Highlands.

The data showed that, with the exception of the London Borough of Camden (down 14 per cent over the year) and Cornwall (down 17 per cent), all of the areas experiencing the biggest drops in housing demand during the second quarter of the year were located in the North of England or in Scotland.
