A Lancashire-based chartered financial planning firm has made seven appointments as part of its growth plans.
Peter Ashcroft and Gareth Nicholson have joined True Bearing as IFAs, while Ian McCue and Nick Porter joined as paraplanners. The firm has also welcomed Terri Green as marketing manager.

In addition to the experienced hires, the firm recently offered university student Joe McGarvey a one-year work experience placement. Mr McGarvey is currently studying for a financial services, planning and management degree.
Former retail worker Zoe Butterworth has also been welcomed by the business as an administrative apprentice.
Meanwhile, Coventry-based BRI Wealth Management, has bolstered its team with the hire of David Craig, a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, who will head up BRI’s new intermediary division.
