Invesco Perpetual adventurers earn cash for kids’ charity

Fund manager Invesco Perpetual has edged closer to its £1m charity target after this year’s hugely successful lakes challenge.

The 2015 Invesco Perpetual Lakes Challenge in aid of the Youth Adventure Trust recently saw 30 teams from the financial services community battle the elements in a series of gruelling challenges in the Lake District.

Some 198 participants hiked, biked and canoed the toughest course in the event’s eight-year history, scaling the highest peak and canoeing one of the largest lakes in England to raise £101,000 for the trust.
