AMC down on Kames Diversified Income Fund

Kames Capital has said that from 1 November it will reduce the annual management charge on the Kames Diversified Income Fund.

The move will see the AMC reduced from 0.65 per cent to 0.55 per cent on the fund’s B share class.

The £286m fund, run by Vincent McEntegart, is aimed at both institutional and retail investors seeking an attractive, sustainable level of income with the potential for capital growth over the medium term, through a diversified portfolio of bonds, equities and alternatives.

Kames Capital’s director of wholesale business Steve Kenny said: ‘With the recent changes announced by the government capping fees on pension pots to 0.75 per cent from April this year, we believe this move makes the fund extremely attractive to pension investors or anyone seeking an attractive income.”
