A financial planning firm has celebrated its 50th anniversary – and is still in family hands.

John Holloway, his father-in-law, Herbert Baker, and business partner Ian Grant took out second mortgages to set up Regency Investment Services in November 1965 on Egham high street.

The pensions and life policy partnership has grown over the past 50 years and now has 60 consultants in offices in Harrogate, Nottingham, Teesside and Reading, as well as a brokerage in Holland.

Today, Regency Investment Services is run by Mr Holloway’s daughter, Dominique Vinecombe, who took over as managing director eight years ago. It achieved chartered financial planning status in 2011.
